A caring collaboration in healing
Healing unfolds most naturally when we feel safe, seen, and supported.
Our work together is a collaboration — led by your pace, guided by compassion, and grounded in trust. There’s no need to prepare, perform, or be anyone other than who you are right now.
How I Work
I primarily work with Havening Techniques® — a gentle, neuroscience-based method that helps calm the nervous system and release stored emotional stress. It is often surprisingly effective, allowing the body and mind to find ease and safety again.
Alongside that, my work is deeply informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) — a compassionate framework that helps us understand how our inner world is organized into different “parts” of the psyche. While we may not always use IFS as a technique in session, it provides a profound map for understanding why we react, protect, and feel the way we do.
Havening supports the felt sense of safety and calm, while the IFS perspective brings understanding and compassion for all that lives inside us. Together, they form a deeply integrative and empowering path toward healing.
A Typical Session
Each 60-minute session begins with a short check-in to see what feels most present or in need of attention.
We then move into a Havening process, using soothing touch and focused attention to help the nervous system shift from stress or overwhelm into calm and safety.
Throughout the session, the IFS perspective quietly supports our work — helping us notice and understand the different parts of you that may be showing up, without needing to analyze or go into long stories.
You remain in charge of the pace and direction. My role is to guide the process with care and presence, creating a space where your system can naturally move toward balance and healing.
Sessions are available online (via Zoom) or in person in Victoria, BC.
